About the GIMSEO SEO Audit
GIMSEO combines HTML, HTTP, robots.txt, sitemap, structured-data, social, security, performance and limited child-page crawl signals into one diagnostic report. Scores are GIMSEO's own weighted diagnostics and are not Google rankings.
How many checks does this audit perform?
The audit is designed around 100+ individual diagnostic signals. Some checks are informational and do not affect the score, while weighted technical and optimization checks contribute to category scores.
Does GIMSEO show real PageSpeed data?
When Google's PageSpeed Insights service is reachable from the server, the report includes Lighthouse performance scores and lab metrics for mobile and desktop. If the API is unavailable, the report does not invent those values.
Does the audit check backlinks?
Backlinks and referring domains require a separate external link index. GIMSEO does not fabricate backlink counts from the target page. A future API integration can add backlink data.
Does it crawl the whole website?
The current audit samples a limited number of same-host child pages from the sitemap and internal links. A separate full-site crawler can be added later for larger sites.
