SEO Cost in Pakistan 2026: What You Should Pay and What You Should Get

What does SEO cost in Pakistan in 2026? Real monthly price ranges, what each SEO package should include, and how to spot cheap SEO that hurts your business.

If you are asking about SEO cost in Pakistan in 2026, you have probably seen two very different offers. One company quotes PKR 10,000 a month. Another quotes PKR 150,000. Both call it “SEO”.

The difference is not just price. It is what actually gets done each month, and whether it brings you customers. This guide explains realistic SEO packages prices in Pakistan, what is included in SEO packages that work, and how to spot cheap SEO before it costs you more than it saves.

I have worked in digital marketing for 15 years. Our team at GIMSEO works with export manufacturers in Sialkot and other Pakistani cities, and with regular SEO clients in the USA, UK and UAE. Everything below comes from that work.

Why SEO matters for Pakistani businesses in 2026

Your buyers search before they call. A sports goods importer in Germany types “custom football manufacturer Pakistan”. A family in Sialkot searches “web design company near me”. A store owner in Dubai asks ChatGPT which supplier to trust.

If your business does not appear in those answers, a competitor does. SEO (search engine optimisation) is the work that puts your website in front of those people when they are ready to buy.

Unlike ads, SEO keeps working after you stop paying for each click. A page that ranks well can bring enquiries for years. That is why, for most businesses, the real question is not “is it worth paying for SEO?” but “am I paying for SEO that actually works?”

SEO cost in Pakistan 2026: typical monthly price ranges

Monthly SEO pricing in Pakistan varies widely. These are the ranges we commonly see quoted this year. They are a guide, not fixed rates.

SEO services charges in Pakistan depend on four things: how competitive your keywords are, how many pages your site has, which countries you target, and how much content and link building you need each month. Ranking for “shoes Sialkot” is a very different job from ranking for “leather gloves manufacturer” in the USA.

What is included in SEO packages that actually work

A proper SEO package is a set of clear monthly deliverables, not a vague promise of “ranking”. When you compare SEO packages in Pakistan, ask for this list in writing:

  • Website audit at the start: technical problems, speed, indexing, broken pages and duplicate content.
  • Keyword research and mapping: which search terms each page should target, based on real buyer intent.
  • On-page optimisation: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and content improvements on agreed pages.
  • Technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, crawl errors, sitemaps, canonical tags and structured data (schema).
  • Content creation: a set number of articles or page improvements per month, written for people, not keyword counters.
  • Link building: a realistic number of relevant links from real websites, not thousands of spam links.
  • Local SEO (if relevant): Google Business Profile setup and optimisation, reviews strategy and consistent business listings.
  • Reporting: monthly rankings, organic traffic, enquiries and what was done, ideally with Google Analytics and Search Console access in your own name.

If an agency cannot tell you the SEO cost per month deliverables in plain words, you will not know what you are paying for.

What cheap SEO does to your business

Affordable SEO packages in Pakistan are not the problem. Cheap SEO is. The difference is whether the low price comes from efficiency or from shortcuts.

Here is what we usually find when a business comes to us after a cheap package:

  • Spam backlinks. Hundreds of links from unrelated, low-quality sites. Google’s spam policies treat link schemes as manipulation. The best case is that the links are ignored. The worst case is lost rankings.
  • No real work on the website. The same report arrives every month, but the titles, content and technical problems are untouched.
  • Copied or mass-produced content. Thin articles written only to fit keywords. They rarely rank and they do not convince buyers.
  • Reports that look good but mean nothing. Rankings for terms nobody searches, or “impressions” with no enquiries behind them.
  • No access to your own data. Analytics and Search Console set up in the agency’s account, so you lose your history if you leave.

Six months of PKR 15,000 is PKR 90,000 spent. If that money produced no enquiries and a damaged link profile, it was the most expensive option.

Check the agency’s own website first

This is the simplest test, and most business owners never do it. Before you hire anyone for SEO, look at how their own website performs.

Many web design companies and agencies in Pakistan offer SEO services, yet their own sites are missing the basics: no proper title tags, slow pages, no schema, thin service pages and little organic traffic. If they cannot rank their own business, it is fair to ask how they will rank yours.

Another common pattern: some companies build a client’s website and add a “Designed by” link in the footer that points back to themselves. That link then appears on every page of every site they build. Their visibility comes from these links and referrals, not from SEO skill. Google’s spam policies specifically list widely distributed links in website footers and templates as a link scheme. A footer credit should be a nofollow link, and it should never be the agency’s main SEO strategy.

Ask any agency three questions: Which keywords does your own site rank for? Can you show organic traffic from Search Console? What did you do for a client in my industry?

Modern SEO: AI search, AIO and GEO

Search has changed. Google now shows AI Overviews above normal results. Buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for supplier recommendations. Optimising for these answers is often called AIO (AI optimisation) or GEO (generative engine optimisation).

The foundations are still SEO foundations, done properly:

  • Clear pages that answer specific questions directly.
  • Structured data that tells machines who you are, what you sell and where you are.
  • A consistent business name, address and phone number across the web.
  • Real proof: case studies, certifications, reviews and named experts.
  • Mentions and links from trusted websites in your industry.

Many agencies still sell SEO the way it worked ten years ago. If a proposal never mentions AI search, structured data or content quality, it is out of date.

Small business, local and e-commerce SEO cost

Small business SEO cost in Pakistan is usually at the lower end, because the target area is smaller. A clinic, school or shop in one city mainly needs local SEO.

Local SEO packages price typically covers Google Business Profile optimisation, local landing pages, reviews and citations. For most local businesses this is the best first spend. Our Local SEO (Basic) plan is PKR 45,000 a month. See our local SEO services.

Ecommerce SEO packages in Pakistan cost more because there is more to manage: hundreds of product pages, categories, filters, duplicate URLs and product schema. Stores on Shopify and WooCommerce need regular content and technical work to compete with marketplaces. Our E-Commerce / Shopify Website (Premium) plan is PKR 120,000 a month. See our e-commerce SEO service.

Export manufacturers usually need national or international SEO. Their buyers search in the USA, UK, Europe and the Gulf, so the competition is global and the work takes longer. Our B2B Website SEO (Standard) plan, at PKR 95,000 a month, is built for them.

Freelancer SEO rates vs agency in Pakistan

A good freelancer can be excellent value. Freelancer SEO rates are lower because there is less overhead. The limit is time: one person rarely covers technical SEO, writing, link outreach and reporting every month.

An agency costs more but brings a team, processes and continuity if someone is ill or leaves. For a small local business, a skilled freelancer is often enough. For an exporter or an online store, an agency usually delivers more per rupee.

Whichever you choose, judge them on the same things: their own results, clear deliverables and honest reporting.

Is it worth paying for SEO?

Yes, when three conditions are met: people search for what you sell, your website can convert visitors into enquiries, and you can commit for at least six months. SEO compounds. Most new sites see early movement in three to six months and stronger results after that.

It is not worth paying for SEO that hides its work, promises guaranteed rankings or relies on spam links. No honest agency can guarantee positions on Google.

Frequently asked questions

How much does SEO cost per month in Pakistan in 2026?

Most real SEO packages fall between PKR 40,000 and PKR 300,000 a month. Local SEO sits at the lower end. National, export and e-commerce SEO cost more. GIMSEO plans run from PKR 45,000 to PKR 120,000 a month.

Why are some SEO packages so cheap?

Very cheap packages usually rely on automated reports and bulk backlinks instead of real work on your website. They rarely bring enquiries and can harm your rankings.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Usually three to six months for early improvements, and six to twelve months for competitive keywords. New websites and international markets take longer.

What should an SEO report include?

The work done that month, keyword rankings, organic traffic, enquiries or sales from search, and the plan for next month.

Do I need SEO if I already run Google Ads?

Ads stop when the budget stops. SEO builds traffic you do not pay for per click. Many businesses use ads for quick leads while SEO grows.

Can any agency guarantee first position on Google?

No. Google decides rankings. A trustworthy agency promises clear work and honest reporting, not guaranteed positions.
