Questions
How long should a title tag be?
Aim for about 50 to 60 characters. Google cuts titles by width, not character count, so the tool also estimates the pixel width and warns you when a title is likely to be cut.
Does the meta description affect rankings?
Not directly, but a clear description that matches the search can earn more clicks. Google sometimes writes its own snippet from your page instead.
I use WordPress with Rank Math or Yoast. Do I need this?
Your SEO plugin already writes these tags. Use the generator to draft and check the wording, then paste the title and description into the plugin fields.
